The 10th Annual Festival d'Vine will be held again this year in beautiful Treaty Oak Park!
This popular event will feature the tasting of an extensive selection of wines from well known vintners and delicious food from top area restaurants. Participating restaurants include: 4 Rivers Smokehouse, All Spiced Up, Anthony's Gourmet Catering, bb’s, Biscottis, Bistro Aix, Black Sheep, BRIO Tuscan Grille, Buttercream and Moonbeams, Burrito Gallery, Café Nola@MOCA, Carrabba's Italian Grill, European Street Café, Fionn MacCool’s, Havana-Jax, III Forks, Indochine, Mojo BBQ, Ovinté, Sivada's Cupcakery, Stonewood Grill & Tavern, Sweet Pete's, The Wine Cellar, The Good Food Company, Tidbits, and Uptown Market.
We are excited to be working with Ovinté as our 2013 wine partner. Wines tasted will be available for purchase at a discount the night of the event and a portion of the sales will support Catholic Charities. Musical entertainment will be provided by Freudian Slip.
More than 800 individuals came out last year to enjoy this spectacular event. Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 9th to come out and join us! Tickets for the event are $75 per person or $50 for Junior Patrons, ages 21 - 35. Proceeds from this event will benefit families in crisis, served through Catholic Charities Emergency Assistance Program.
Tickets available at the event. For additional information, please contact Susan DeCandio at 224-0062.
Thank you to everyone who attended the 2013 Gala of Giving on April 13! We were pleased to welcome Rev. Larry Snyder, President of Catholic Charities USA as our special guest at our 20th annual Black & White GALA OF GIVING. Over 520 guests joined us for this year's festivities.
Special recognition goes to our sponsors and in-kind donors, and also to all the area shops, restaurants, artists and individuals who so generously donated to our Silent Auction and Wine Shop. The Silent Auction and new Wine Shop were a big success thanks to the hard work of Elizabeth Deaux, Jan Bebeau and Ruby Peters. We would be remiss if we did not mention the extraordinary students from Bishop John J. Snyder, Bishop Kenny and Wolfson high schools who were a huge help throughout the evening. We are most grateful for the spirit of generosity from our sponsors, donors and volunteers who enabled us to raise $241,480 and provide the gift of hope for families in crisis.
